Social Media Manager Intern

Effulgence Tech is a web design and digital marketing agency, also offering AWS cloud computing training and consulting. We’re looking for a creative and organized Social Media Manager Intern to join our team for a 3-month training program, working primarily on growing and managing Effulgence Tech’s own social media presence.

About the Role

As a Social Media Manager Intern, you’ll help plan, schedule, and manage content across our social platforms, working closely with our content, design, and video teams to build an engaging and consistent brand presence online.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and maintain a social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.)
• Schedule and publish posts, reels, and stories
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/DMs, and foster community interaction
• Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and report insights
• Stay on top of trends, hashtags, and platform algorithm changes
• Collaborate with content creators, copywriters, and designers to align messaging across posts
• Assist with influencer outreach and partnership coordination where needed

What We’re Looking For

• A strong understanding of major social platforms and how their algorithms/trends work
• Experience managing or growing a social media account (personal or professional) is a plus
• Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g. Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite) is a bonus
• Creative thinking with an eye for what makes content perform well
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Open to anyone with the relevant skills, regardless of educational background
